WINTER FUN WEEKEND
JANUARY 9-11, GRISWOLD SCOUT RESERVATION
Winter Fun Weekend is a yearly event held in January at GSR. This weekend is a great time for fellowship for all lodge memebers with video games, board and card games open to all and have the ability to stay awake all night long. Arrowmen will also have two different opportunities for field trips with going to Funspot, the world’s largest arcade or to Gutsock for skiing and snowboarding on the slopes. Prepare for fun-filled days with friends (and little sleep)! This is also a capacity-limited event, so register while you still can HERE.
ACT CONFERENCE

MARCH 7, Stoneham Central Middle School.
ACT is a regional training event held annually by Section E-19! Participating in this event will allow you to meet arrowmen from all over New England, grow as a leader, learn more about the Order of the Arrow, and embrace all that the OA has to offer! ACT’s goal is to help lodges Adapt to face major challenges, Collaborate with peers across the section, and eventually Thrive by becoming high-performing lodges and individuals. ASCENT (FORMERLY LLDC)
APRIL 11, CAMP CARPENTER
Ascent, which was formerly known as LLDC, is a leadership conference run by our lodge and is open to all members of the lodge. Are you looking to improve your leadership skills or learn more about the different roles and how the OA works, or just gain some life skills? Maybe you’re interested is gaining skills to help you in or join a committee, benefit your chapter, or even run to be a future lodge officer. This event is a great event for you as we will be holding numerous trainings that you can apply to positions in the lodge, your unit, and in your everyday life. LLDC is an excellent opportunity to learn more about leadership with your fellow Arrowmen.

SPRING ORDEAL AND FELLOWSHIP
MAY 15-17, GRISWOLD SCOUT RESERVATION
During the spring ordeal and fellowship is one of the two annual weekends where our lodge inducts and welcomes new Arrowmen into our lodge and order. We also hold our Brotherhood conversions this weekend for ordeal members to finish their membership and seal their brotherhood. Find information about your brotherhood, including a study guide, here. Also, if you are joining our order, then find information about your ordeal here. We also heavily encourage you to try to be an Elangomat. Also, join in participating in some cheerful service to get Grisworld Scout Reservation ready for their summer season, as well as join us for amazing fellowship with new and old Arrowmen. NEW ENGLAND FELLOWSHIP (NEF)
JUNE 5-7, Griswold Scout Reservation
Meet arrowmen from all over New England at this training and fellowship-centered event! NEF is the largest regional gathering of Arrowmen every year, and in 2026. we are hosting the section at GSR. Get ready for amazing shows, entertaining program, captivating training sessions and more! This is also the when we vote for our section officers.

Passaconclave
OCTOBER 16-18, GRISWOLD SCOUT RESERVATION
A great weekend to plan your next steps in the Order of the Arrow. A great leadership development opportunity to build your own leadership skills and help prepare yourself to take your own trail in the OA or scouting. Also, this is a great weekend for fellowship, activities, competitions, and fun!
The mornings will be filled with training opportunities. You will be able to select training that fits your experience within the OA. The afternoon will be filled with different adventures, competitions and scouting activities that you can choose to participate in. Additionally, lodge officer elections will be held, where arrowmen will vote for their 2024-2025 leadership!

LODGE ANNUAL Executive Board Retreat/Annual Planning

At the Lodge Planning Meeting, the Lodge Executive Board extensively plans out the following calendar year. Also, the Founders’ Award Nominating Committees convene to decide the next years’ recipients.
Lodge Banquet

Lodge Banquet is the final lodge event of the scouting year. At Lodge Banquet, we celebrate another great year of our lodge and recognize some outstanding arrowmen who made this all possible, as well as see the transition between our past lodge officers and new lodge officers.
other events
Throughout the year, many supplementary meetings are held. Chapters generally meet on a monthly basis (to see when and where your chapter meets, check out “Chapters” tab). Committees also regularly meet throughout the year, as needed. To see more information on our committees and when they meet, click HERE.
Another type regular meeting held throughout the year, are lodge executive board meetings, or E-board meetings. These meetings are typically held every two months, at the discretion of the lodge chief, and hold the purpose of planning out lodge events. In attendance are lodge officers, chapter chiefs, committee chairs and all of their respective advisors.
To ensure the success of the lodge, our lodge officers will meet regularly (as needed) to discuss all things Passaconaway Lodge and keep an open line of communication.
