WINTER FUN WEEKEND

JANUARY 12TH-14TH, GRISWOLD SCOUT RESERVATION

Winter Fun Weekend is a time of fellowship and fun for all Lodge members.  The weekend is free for all of the video games, board games, card playing, snowball fights, ice fishing, skiing, snowboarding, sledding, bowling and lack of sleep you desire. Arrowmen have the opportunity to take field trips to Funspot, the world’s largest arcade, ski/board the slopes at Gunstock, or go ice fishing. Prepare for fun-filled days with friends (and little sleep)! This is a capacity limited event, so register while you still can HERE.


ACT CONFERENCE

MARCH 2ND, LOCATION TBD

ACT is a regional training event held by Section E-19! Participating in this event will allow you to meet arrowmen from all over New England, grow as a leader, learn more about the Order of the Arrow, and embrace all that the OA has to offer!


LODGE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE (LLDC)

APRIL 13TH, CAMP CARPENTER

Are you looking to improve your leadership skills? Maybe you’re interested in taking on a committee chair or chapter chief role, or even running to be a future lodge officer. Well, then this event is for you! We will be holding numerous trainings that you can apply to positions in the lodge, your unit, and in your everyday life. LLDC is an excellent opportunity to learn more about leadership with your fellow arrowmen.


SPRING ORDEAL AND FELLOWSHIP

MAY 17TH-19TH, CAMP CARPENTER

During this weekend, we induct new Arrowmen into the lodge!  Current members are highly encouraged to attend to seal their Brotherhood, or try out being an Elangomat, all while participating in some cheerful service to get Camp Carpenter ready for their summer season!  Also taking place during this weekend, is Passaconaway Lodge’s Annual Banquet, where we present awards and recognize our arrowmen’s accomplishments over the previous year. NEW ENGLAND FELLOWSHIP (NEF)

JUNE 7TH-9TH, CAMP WILLIAM HINDS, ME

Meet arrowmen from all over New England at this training and fellowship-centered event! NEF is the largest regional gathering of Arrowmen every year, and in 2024, it’s being held by our friends at Madockawanda Lodge. Get ready for amazing shows, entertaining program, captivating training sessions and more! It’s a great time and an excellent opportunity to check out one of Maine’s scout camps, and make friends from all over our section. This is also the when we vote for our section officers.


NATIONAL ORDER OF THE ARROW CONFERENCE (NOAC)

JULY 29TH-AUGUST 3RD, UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO, BOULDER

This national event will have upwards of 8,000 arrowmen from all over the country! Hosted on a college campus in the beautiful Boulder, Colorado, NOAC is the flagship national Order of the Arrow event. It is held every two years at a major university campus, where arrowmen will meet, participate in amazing shows, state of the art program, renowned training, much of which is held in an open-program style, where you can set your own schedule and be independent! FALL ORDEAL AND FELLOWSHIP

BLACK BEAR JAMBOREE

OCTOBER 18TH-20TH, GRISWOLD SCOUT RESERVATION

A huge state-wide Passaconaway Lodge sponsored Jamboree!  Get ready for captivating shows, entertaining program, unit and leadership training, and an incredible amount of fun!  This event is the first of it’s kind, and will draw in Arrowmen, Scouts and Scouters from around Daniel Webster Council and beyond for one of the most memorable events ever put on by our Lodge!


LODGE ANNUAL PLANNING MEETING

NOVEMBER 16th, GRISWOLD SCOUT RESERVATION

At the Lodge Planning Meeting, the Lodge Executive Board extensively plans out the following calendar year. Also, the Vigil Nominating Committee and the Founders’ Award Nominating Committees convene to decide the next years’ recipients.

Throughout the year, many supplementary meetings are held. Chapters generally meet on a monthly basis (to see when and where your chapter meets, check out “Chapters” tab). Committees also regularly meet throughout the year, as needed. To see more information on our committees and when they meet, click HERE.

Another type regular meeting held throughout the year, are lodge executive board meetings, or E-board meetings. These meetings are typically held every two months, at the discretion of the lodge chief, and hold the purpose of planning out lodge events. In attendance are lodge officers, chapter chiefs, committee chairs and all of their respective advisors.

To ensure the success of the lodge, our lodge officers will meet regularly (as needed) to discuss all things Passaconaway Lodge and keep an open line of communication.
